In what has seemingly been a resurgent year for Reichs, the Buffalo Bills have asked the Eagles for permission to speak to OC Frank Reich about their head coaching position, according to Tim McManus. Two days ago, a tipster (who we swear is not LeSean McCoy) told use Reich would be heading to Buffalo this offseason.

Reich has a history with the Bills, where he backed up Hall of Famer Jim Kelly and won the 1993 Wild Card game on a wild comeback. He’s like their Doug Pederson – or rather, their Koy Detmer. Reich interviewed for the same gig in 2015 when they ended up hiring Rex Ryan instead.

Post Script: If Reich does leave, we’ll never get to see the sitcom “Frankie and the Wentz,” whose promo shot can be seen above.
