Right, so it looks like the #1 seed is now out of the question for the Birds. It’s not some horrible situation though.
One of Detroit or Minnesota will have to be the #5 seed, kind of a shitty result for them, but the product of not winning the division. So if it’s Lions 1, Eagles 2, Vikings 5, for instance, the Birds would wind up most likely with Washington or Green Bay at home in the 2/7 game. There’s plenty of football left to play, but you wouldn’t mind hosting the Commies with a healthy Jalen Hurts in order to exact some revenge for what transpired Sunday. Bring these despicable fools back to Lincoln Financial Field and let’s run it back one more time.
The other thing of note is that you are likely going to be able to rest the starters in Week 18. Go out next week, smack Cooper Rush around, then it’s the Will Shipley show against the New York Giants. Go Birds.
