Rough week in the Big D.  After a humilating loss that dropped the Cowboys to 1-7 and the firing of head coach Wade Phillips, you would think the team would've suffered enough embarrassment for one week.

Nope, there's more.

It seems as though they forgot to renew the domain name DallasCowboys.com, which was originally registered back in 1995.

The Dallas Morning News reports that the site was pulled at midnight on Sunday and replaced with a very generic Network Solutions page.  The Cowboys quickly realized their mistake and renewed until 2020- a whopping $250 investment for large websites.

Conspiracy theory, so they could avoid the embarrassment of having to report on the loss and impending firing?  Nope, here's proof from Who.is:

How's our old buddy BlueStarShockTrooper handling all of this?  Surprisingly well.  Video after the jump.

How 'bout them Cowboys?

Click here if you missed his… um… enthusiastic video prior to Week 1.
