Sneaky Eagles dropping this right before the Phillies game:

White finishes his Eagles career with 0 tackles and 0 snaps in 0 games played.

He came in on a $4 million dollar, one-year deal ($3.5 mill guaranteed) as a reclamation project of sorts but didn’t fly to Brazil because of an ankle injury (who knows at this point), sat behind Zack Baun and Nakobe Dean, and now is gone. The most notable thing he did during his time here was retweet and delete Lavonte David’s strip sack of Jalen Hurts. What actually happened, we have no clue. The beats haven’t unearthed much. It’s quite possible he’s just not that good, a damaged player at age 26 who went to the Pro Bowl and won a Super Bowl ring just a few years ago.

Reuben Frank reported this: “The Eagles released the unhappy former 1st-rd pick with an agreement where he’s not subject to waivers & in exchange for that he gave the Eagles financial concessions to erase some dead money. “
