The Packers Revised Their Tush Push Ban Proposal, Still Cowards
By Kyle Pagan
Published:

Monday night, the Packers updated the language in the proposal on their quest to ban the Tush Push, adding language about assisting a runner only by individually blocking opponents for him:
The new language basically reverts the rule back to what it was in the early-2000s. Their reasoning of “pace of play” and “player safety” is still so funny.
So this doesn’t just ban the Tush Push, but also bans pushing the pile, right? That stinks because nothing fires me up like pushing the pile:
This would be a penalty if the Packers get their way because eight Packers are pushing six Eagles:

You won’t believe it, but Frankie Luvu weighed in on the Tush Push and he wants it banned too. Last time I checked, the Tush Push didn’t score all those points in the NFC Championship game:
The funny part is if the Tush Push is banned, Jalen Hurts will still be successful at the QB sneak because he squats 600 pounds and your QB doesn’t.
