The Sixers are all-in on the Eagles

It wasn’t always this way.
Philadelphia sports teams use to try to one-up each other, timing press releases and events in a concentrated effort to keep the spotlight on themselves.
Doesn’t seem to be the case in 2018. The Sixers rolled out these jerseys on Friday morning:

This goes along with the “Brotherly Love” shirts that the Sixers will wear for warm-ups tonight. The first 10,000 fans in the building will get one of these midnight green jawns:

I’d say the Sixers have been at the forefront of the movement. Every night, the biggest pop at the Wells Fargo Center is usually for whichever Eagle shows up to watch the game, followed by the second quarter t-shirt cannon routine. Turns out people love free shit just as much as the Birds.
The Flyers have been pretty Eagle friendly, too. They got the team together to do “Fly Eagles Fly.” And Doug Pederson dropped the puck at the Center last week:

The Phillies and Union aren’t in season right now, but they’ve added some cool Eagles stuff to their social media accounts.
That’s good “4 for 4” stuff from our local teams. Or “5 for 5”. Or “6 for 6” if you wanna throw the Soul/Fusion/Drexel field hockey/whatever in there.
Go Birds.
