Thomas Petersen, the Danish guy who posts about the Eagles all the time, ripped off a graph made by Deniz Selman, who is a PHLY contributor:

This background is that this Petersen guy is an Eagles diehard who does YouTube breakdown videos and tweets observations and other such things. Basically an Eagles nut with 53,000 followers, but he’s not from here and I don’t think anyone has actually ever met him in person. He’s had issues in the past with non-citation, and was once a serial training camp offender, taking observations from the in-attendance beat writers, compiling them, and then tweeting them out like he’s actually there. It makes you wonder how a guy in Europe is able to comment on training camp if he’s on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. Does he have a satellite floating in space? Maybe a long-range stealth drone? Very curious!

In the case above, as Selman notes, all you have to do is retweet or quote tweet for the proper credit. Instead, this is straight up lifted and presented like Petersen made it, which he did not. If he’s not a plagiarizer, then he’s simply a blockhead, which may be a possibility. The thing about the content game in 2025 is that a lot of players don’t have any formal journalism education, so things that seem obvious may not be. All you have to do is give credit where it’s due, RT or QT, and link to other people’s work and that’s industry standard.

By the way, Selman is very good at PHLY. He jumps on the podcast every so often, and the entire group – Bo Wulf, EJ Smith, and Fran Duffy, does a really nice job of diving into some deeper Eagles analysis without being overly dense. They’ve found the sweet spot of football talk that goes one or two levels below the surface, but without turning into some esoteric discussion you can’t understand. It’s worth listening to, the PHLY Eagles podcast.
