This is probably the best clip of the weekend. Tua Tagovailoa led the Dolphins to a THRILLING overtime win over the Commies (not really) in Madrid and then was asked where he wanted to play next:

First of all, Jerusalem is in Asia. It’s not in Europe. It’s true that Israel is part of UEFA when it comes to soccer competitions, but the country and city are physically located on the continent of Asia. It is also a famously disputed city, and claimed as the capital of both Israel and Palestine. Holiest city on the planet for the Abrahamic religions and a center of conflict for something like 5,000 years now. At least that’s what we learned from watching Kingdom of Heaven with Orlando Bloom and Jeremy Irons.

You may also be aware that the world’s foremost conflict is currently taking place about 2 hours to the southwest, in the Gaza Strip, so the optics of NFL Jerusalem would be super dumb. Probably “best practice” to just avoid the area entirely. You’d run less of a risk holding the NFL Pyongyang game vs. playing in Israel right now. Plus, the only teams we should send to the Middle East are the Cowboys and the 49ers, colloquially known as “the Hamas and Hezbollah of American football.

A lot of people did the CTE joke after Tua said this, which might be fair or unfair. Head injury jokes are possibly taboo and off limits. But if we’re being honest, geography is not one of our strengths to begin with. Not all “U.S. Americans” can locate our own country on a map. This was eloquently explained by Miss Teen South Carolina back in 2007. Go COCKS!
