Impressive card-trickery again from Dorenbos, whose quick hands play owner to the tightest handshake grip on the planet. Easy four yesses for the long snapper here, even if NBC’s hyper-editing made it even further impossible to discern what the hell he just did. This is why I can’t watch America’s Got Talent— the editing. I know all reality shows are, obviously, heavily-edited to the max, but I can’t get past the fake clapping here. At least America Idol relied on genuine reactions. AGT and The Voice mess with the space-time continuum so much that I always feel like I just stepped out of an outpatient procedure under a local anesthetic that took place in a time warp wrapped in a black hole with basic cable. It makes sitcom laugh tracks seem organic and natural. WHY ARE THE CRESCENDOS MISPLACED?!?!?!
