Chip Kelly, asked today about another dumb comment from LeSean McCoy:
“I understand why he’s not happy about it and he should not be happy about it. I would apologize to him for that because it didn’t happen the right way. But on our standpoint, we thought the trade wasn’t gonna be initiated until the next morning, so there was no phone call to be made until the league approves the trade. So, I understand where he’s coming from and he doesn’t wanna shake my hand I understant that. If he puts his hand out to me, I’d always shake his hand … the only reason he’s not here is that the money was too high. He’s still a really good football player in this league, I don’t know if I can say anything else besides that. I do have great respect for LeSean, he’s a heck of a football player, and we’re gonna have our hands full when we play him this week.”
Jeez, that road is so high that if this were Mario, you’d need a secret vine to climb off-screen to get to it.
