On Chris Long’s latest podcast, he said a current Eagle reached out to him about wearing on Friday the famous fur coat from the 2018 parade:

“I did field a text last night, and I’m not sure if he was being serious. Somebody might be wearing the coat Friday. I think what they wanted was the coat. I got a text a midnight, ‘let me get that coat Friday.'”

The only clues we have are that the player is not white, he texted Long at midnight, and it’s a guy that Chris Long really loves. Since it’s not a Caucasian guy, that would eliminate Lane Johnson, who was the first player that came to mind. You would have to think that it’s one of the players who was on the 2018 team with Chris Long, right? There’s an existing relationship there. You wouldn’t expect one of the young guys who doesn’t really know Chris Long to ask for the fur coat, but you never know. Based on the little information we have, my guesses are:

  1. Brandon Graham – because “let me get that coat Friday” sounds like something he would text Chris Long at midnight
  2. Slay – could definitely see him wearing that at the parade
  3. Nolan Smith – I believe he’s been on Long’s podcast and he seems like someone who would make this request
  4. Jordan Mailata – dunno why, just makes sense
  5. Josh Sweat – maybe because he played the same position (EDIT – actually he did play with Long on the 2018 team)

That’s my list. I think it’s BG.
