We’re assuming this is a father/son duo. It could be a son/uncle or just a random kid with a random older Eagles fan next to him, but it’s a formative moment nonetheless:
It’s a very proud moment! Even emotional. Look how he puts his arms around him.
The adult gentleman on the right definitely sat in the 700 level at Veterans Stadium back in the day. He looks like a guy who has seen some shit. Now this young man next to him has completed a rite of passage, if you think about it. You don’t become a true Eagles fan until you’ve been thrown right into the crucible of a shitty home loss with two horrendous turnovers. It’s a coming of age type of thing. You’ll always remember the first time you booooooooed the hell out of a lousy Eagles performance and flipped them the double birds going into halftime.
