Your CVS Receipt is Nothing in Length When Compared to the Eagles’ Injury Report
Meantime:
The list is so long that it doesn’t even fit in the embedded tweet. The other three guys are:
- Fred Johnson (knee)
- Landon Dickerson (knee)
- Eli Stowers (hamstring/quad)
What’s funny, or maybe sad, is that the injuries to Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby have resulted in Will Shipley appearing next to Joe Mixon and Tyreek Hill as “trending” fantasy football players. Shipley has 15 carries for 51 yards this season, which is 3.4 a pop. He’s caught four of six targets for 24 yards. Surely he’s going to see volume in London because the Eagles can’t do much beyond elevating one or more of Dameon Pierce, Carson Steele, and Jaydon Blue from the practice squad. And even if one of those guys gets a decent workload, Shipley will be in there on third downs, so you can probably do worse than Shipley as a flex play if your team needs a waiver wire pickup.
Let the record show, by the way, that the Eagles beat the Jag-wires in the UK back in 2018 with Josh Adams and Wendell Smallwood. Adams ran the ball nine times at a 6.8 YPC clip. Smallwood had 66 scrimmage yards and a touchdown. Nine different Eagles caught a pass. Stranger things have happened in the UK, like Arsenal finally winning the title. This could be anybody’s ball game!
Or the Eagles get their ass kicked. They’re a +7 underdog at NJ betting apps and PA sports betting apps. That amounts to a 23% chance to win at prediction markets like Kalshi.
