Checking in on Anaheim Ducks Fans (All Five of Them) Who Were Trashing the Flyers a Few Weeks Back
The Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Anaheim Ducks 3-2 in overtime back on March 18th. Quitter Gauthier was boooooed inside of his own barn as Flyers fans descended upon Honda Center in Southern California.
Naturally, the 5-6 people who actually watch and follow the Ducks had some things to say about the Flyers being out of playoff position at the time with less than a 10% chance of qualifying:
12 bettman points. Below .500 team. Don’t compare your Philly trash to the ducks

It was so dumb at the time because Anaheim was atop the worst division in hockey. The only reason they were in playoff position is because the Oilers, Knights, and Kings were playing bang-average hockey. Yet they came out and said all of this outrageous nonsense about the rebuilding Flyers, who were tangling with teams like Columbus, Washington, Pittsburgh, and Boston on a weekly basis. Anaheim fans were so dumb that they continued to rip the Fly Guys despite having a NEGATIVE goal differential and one of the worst defenses in hockey. It would be like the NFC South shit talking the NFC West because the Panthers got a home game in the playoffs.
AS IT STANDS RIGHT NOW, the Flyers are on 94 points and the Ducks are on 90. Cutter Gauthier has 40 goals, but so what? He’s 0-4 against the boys since quitting. The Ducks have allowed 281 goals, which is fourth-most in the NHL, and they have a -15 differential. Anaheim hasn’t beaten the Flyers since before Halloween of 2023, when Louie Belpedio was in the lineup.
The Ducks are only doing two things in the playoffs – jack and shit. Keep the Flyers out of your mouths. Stick to Coachella. California bums. Fake sports town.
