Christian Dvorak scored an absolute beauty for the Flyers on Monday night. Watch him screen the empty net before the redirection:

This one of those Rocket League goals. You just hit a belter on the counterattack and it’s going in the net, then some asshole teammate swoops in to tap it in and takes the 100 points for themselves. You only get 50 for the assist. If this was 1996 we would have strangled that person with the Nintendo 64 controller cord, or given them a noogie, but we’re all playing online now, so the best you can do is yell at your buddy over a headset and tell him how big of a jerk he is.

In this case, Dvorak I guess gets the benefit of the doubt that he’s not sure if this puck is on frame. It’s a bang-bang play in front of the crease, sans goaltender. He’s just in the moment and trying to make a play, though if you freeze it, get out the protractor, and do some advanced level geometry, you can see it was going to be a goal. They haven’t drawn lines this accurate since the latest VAR call in the Champions’ League:
