Ed Snider opined on the comments made by Capitals owner Ted Leonsis about the "Flyers suck" chants that broke out at the Winter Classic: [CSN Philly]
“The highlight for me was two sections filled with Caps fans and Pens fans and they looked at each other and they started chanting, 'Flyers suck,’” [Ted] Leonsis said after the game. “It's like they bonded around something.”
“I loved it, I loved it. I thought it was pretty unbelievable. I haven’t called [Leonsis], but I probably will," Snider said.
Snider was not at the game, played at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.
“I was on a sailboat in the Caribbean staying warm,” he said with a laugh.
Rough life that Ed has. Meanwhile, sounds like a little jealousy of the Bullies from Penguins and Capitals fans.
