Edmonton and Toronto Will Reportedly be the NHL’s Return to Play Hub Cities

Tuesday, TSN’s Bob McKenzie reported that the NHL trimmed their list to four hub city prospects, which were Edmonton, Toronto, Chicago, and LV. LV meaning Las Vegas, not the Lehigh Valley.
Because we’re idiots and can’t get COVID-19 under control, America appears to be shut out of the hub city sweepstakes, as he (and ESPN) are now reporting that Edmonton and Toronto will be the choices:
Barring any last-minute complications, and we have seen some of those (Vancouver and Las Vegas), the two NHL Hub cities will be Edmonton and Toronto. 🇨🇦

This shouldn’t come as a surprise. Canadians love their hockey and they’ve got a better grip on the COVID-19 situation than we do. Put those two things together and it makes a lot of sense to resume the season in the Great White North.
This means that the Flyers will lift Lord Stanley’s Cup in Canada instead of doing it on home ice against the St. Louis Blues.
Play Gloria!
