Little D-Jac'ism for your Sunday morning.
This marks the second picture we posted of partially nude Philly arenas today
Busy day at The Well yesterday. Both the Flyers and Sixers won in just the span of a few hours.
The Flyers held onto to a 4-3 lead in the final minutes, before an empty netter from Jeff Carter sealed the deal (he does that often: sealing deals). Just moments prior to the goal, Jamie Langenbrunner may have been was f'n clocked by a Mike Richards two-handed slash across the mouth (he was going for a loose puck!).
Richie's post-game comment when asked if he got away with a high stick? "I'm not sure… I didn't see what happened." Oh you coy bastard.
Later in the evening, the Sixers crushed the Charlotte Bobcats (ZOMG three wins in four games), thanks to 20 first quarter points from Jodie Meeks. Looks like this Meeks over Beeks thing might work out afterall.
Full recaps of both the Flyers and Sixers games at PSD, along with photos of the changeover from ice to wood. Full Flyers game highlights after the jump- with Doc Emrick on the call? Yes, please.
