The Philadelphia Flyers end their season-opening road swing on Thursday night in Seattle.

As they have been for all of the trip, the Flyers are an underdog on the money line, this time against the Kraken.

The Flyers were competitive in two of their three games out west, which is a promising sign for this one.

The Kraken conceded multiple goals in all four of their games and let up at least three tallies three times, so that’s a good trend to play in favor of the Flyers’ team total of over/under 2.5 goals.

Matvei Michkov and Co. scored three goals in all three contests on the west coast swing. All three games featured multiple first-period goals. The first-period total sits at over/under 1.5 with the over sitting at -120.

The full game over/under is set at 5.5 at FanDuel and at 6 over at DraftKings, which is a lower total for most hockey games on Thursday’s 11-game board.

The Flyers are 2-1 to the over early in the season, while Seattle is 2-2 to the over. The Kraken’s last two games had multiple first-period tallies as well.

Seattle doesn’t have any superstars, like the Flyers’ last opponent Edmonton, but they do like to rip the puck. The Kraken have four players with 10+ shots on goal in the early season and they average 31.5 shots per game.

However, that’s not as impressive as the Flyers’ 33.5 shots per game, so hopefully with both sky-high totals, we have a chance to take advantage of shot props.

Travis Konecny and Owen Tippett are both listed at over/under 3.5, but I would look to Matvei Michkov’s shots on goal prop first. Michkov’s line sits at over/under 2.5 and the over is at plus-money. Michkov ripped five shots against Edmonton and put four pucks on net versus Vancouver.

Michkov should have all the confidence in the world after scoring twice against Edmonton, and if he can do that against the Oilers, he can put Seattle’s net under pressure as well. Michkov is +210 to score and -120 to record a point at DK and +260 to score and -111 to record a point at FD.

I would keep firing on Michkov’s props until the books adjust. It’s clear that he is going to be heavily involved in the Flyers offense, and with a spot on the first power play unit, he’ll have ample opportunities to shoot and get on the score sheet.

A Same Game Parlay combination of Konecny, Tippett, and Michkov shots is probably the best way to go if you want to combine the top three offensive players.
