Now that the Panthers have repeated, the odds for the 2026 Stanley Cup winner are out, and BetMGM has the Flyers listed in a tie for the 24th-best chances:

“So you’re telling me there’s a chance,” as Lloyd Christmas from Dumb and Dumber once said. The books are mostly consistent on the Flyers’ positioning, but there’s some variance in the price. DraftKings also has the Flyers at +10000 but FanDuel lists the orange and black at +8000. Regardless, it is nice to see the Bruins and Penguins similarly occupying the futures basement.

Jokes aside, this is a good snapshot of where the Flyers are and where they need to go. A barometer, if you will, as they continue to rebuild and turn a corner.

This will be the first paragraph we write when the Flyers make the playoffs as an exciting D3 in the 2026-2027 playoffs:
