• “He’s a commentator with his own show, he’s just spitballing ideas for how to fix the teams issues. I will say, he seems to be one of the only media people in Philly that isn’t trying to be a part of the flyers boys club. He is actually willing to criticize the team at their mistakes or problems. Kinda refreshing.”

My two cents – I think Russ calls it how he sees it. That’s not me blowing sunshine up his butt. He’s somewhere in the middle as Flyers discourse gets more and more ridiculous. The Michkov-can-do-no-wrong lovefest is almost as exhausting as Paul Bissonnette’s rage baiting, and I don’t feel like he’s on either one of those lunatic fringes right now. We need more voices of reason in the Flyer-verse. We need fair and balanced podcast hosts, like Russell Joy.
