Here Are the Possible Playoff Schedules for the Flyers (And What it Means for the Sixers)

We kinda know what the Flyers’ playoff schedule will look like, per the NHL.
The series will begin Wednesday night at 7 PM in Pittsburgh. Everything else depends on tonight’s Florida-Boston game.
If the Bruins beat the Panthers, this would be the schedule for the Flyers-Penguins series:
I would expect game 2 to be on NBC and probably game 5, if necessary. There’s a pair of two-day breaks in this scenario between games 1 and 2 and games 4 and 5.
If the Panthers beat the Bruins, this would be the schedule:
I would also expect game 3 to be on NBC and probably the same for game 6. In this scenario, there’s only one two-day break between games 3 and 4.
Props to the NHL for giving us a rough outline of the playoff schedule instead of waiting until 11 tonight to release it. We should find out TV coverage after the Florida-Boston game.
This also gives us a layout for when the Sixers might start their series, which will also be affected by tonight’s Bruins game:
Saturday the 14th, Monday the 16th. Hint hint.

Update:What the Bruins do today will affect Sixers home playoff schedule, via Flyers. May be Sunday rather than Saturday. https://t.co/mFFc7KynPi

Based on this, the Sixers will begin their series on Sunday if the Bruins win tonight. A loss would probably mean a Saturday start for the Sixers.
