If I Were the Flyers I’d Simply Stop Having My Game Winning Goals Waived Off

Another Flyers game another game winning goal waived off. This came with 23 seconds left as Travis Konecny tipped one in past Stuart Skinner. To bad it was called back because Owen Tippett was called offsides. This can’t happen if you’re a veteran:
Live look at Flyers fans:
I feel like the Flyers lead the league in game winners that were waived off. Tyson Foerster had his against the Penguins waived off due to another offsides call while Bobby Brink had his OT goal called off cause of goalie interference against Carolina (which was bullshit tbh):
Bobby Brink scores in OT then it was turned over For Goaltender interference

Call me crazy, but if I were the Flyers I’d simply stop having game winners called back. Flyers are now 1-0-2 when they have a game winner called back so at least they’re still getting points. Sidenote: For those of us that might not be able to catch every single Flyers game because we are pink hats, can we fix the score apps? Especially this season when goals are being overturned at an alarming clip for the Orange and the Black. Multiple times I’ve gotten an alert that the Flyers won and then all of a sudden a minute later a new update informs me that not only was the goal taken away, but the Flyers actually lost. It’s 2025! How have the score apps not fixed this yet? Just send me a little notification that the goal was waived off and we’re all good. Having to figure out that the Oilers scored in OT when your phone buzzes is demoralizing. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
It wasn’t all bad last night. Matvei Michkov scored again for his third game in a row:
Dan Vlader had 30 saves and they stifled Conor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl for the most part. The Flyers are a competitive bunch and they’re fun to watch. Just imagine when they start scoring game winners that won’t be called back.
