As predicted, the Flyers’ “new” third jersey will indeed be their 2012 Winter Classic jersey. They announced the changed at the Meet The Flyers taping yesterday.
I don’t hate this. It’s a good looking jersey that only got to be worn twice (Winter Classic and later against the Rangers). No sense is wasting the design, which nods to several eras, including the 90s era sock styling on the sleeves (love that).
