It Took Flyers Fans One Hour to Raise $2,000 for a “Fire Rick Tocchet” Flyover
Tony Escargot is at it again.
After another putrid loss, the mysterious, cannolo-ambushing Flyers fan put together a GoFundMe that has already raised enough money for a “Fire Rick Tocchet” flyover banner above Xfinity Mobile Arena:

Writes Escargot:
“Daniel Briere, Keith Jones, and Comcast have decimated the Philadelphia Flyers by hiring Rick Tocchet as head coach.
The front office thinks the “Fire Tocchet” crowd is purely online but Tony would like to prove otherwise.
This fundraiser is to raise funds for flying 2 planes over Xfinity Mobile Arena during a Flyers afternoon game with signs that read “FIRE TOCCHET” & maybe a photo of Tocchet wearing a clown nose.”
He created the fundraiser around 9:30 on Friday morning, and by 10:30 or so the goal was met. Talk about grassroots organization!
The one thing that does make me laugh is that they are threatening to do a flyover of an indoor arena. So if you’re sitting inside of the building you obviously aren’t gonna see a plane. They’ll have to time this thing so that it happens while people are walking into the building. Otherwise it would be like telling everybody to show up at Penn’s Landing to protest Philadelphia City Hall. Doesn’t make sense.
But Tony Escargot is crafty, and smart. He knows what he’s doing. I can speak from personal experience because he ordered cannoli and shipped it to my house, then my wife texted me and said “what the hell is this cannoli order?” So he operates stealthily, and effectively.
If I can add anything to the brainstorming here, I think Tony should get these guys on his side:
