Matty Ice is here! They said it would never happen and if it did it would be delayed for years. Turns out it only took a year to bring him over and there was Danny Briere and Keith Jones immediately to greet him off the plane:

Look at him already with the Phillies hat! Did Bryce Harper call him? Or were Danny and Keith like, “Trust us dude. Wear this.” The Vet patch on the side is a great touch. Was Michkov a child of the 700 level? I’m firmly putting the chances he throws out the first pitch on Friday at 90%. He should wrist it to the Phanatic behind the plate.
He hasn’t even gotten out of the Lincoln Tunnel yet and he’s already posting his new home on Instagram:

Get this guy over to Bustleton Ave, stat!
Shout out to the brain trust. I can’t comprehend how much they’ve probably had to go through just to get him on a plane. One of Danny’s kids might have to name their first born son Vlad according to the agreement, for all I know. But he’s here and that’s all that matters. Now it’s time to win games and get the orange and the black back to the head of the table.
