Derick Brassard is back, so down goes Frost. Trade deadline in about a month, but we’re talking about a 22 year old who needs NHL games. Enough with the yo-yo already. These young guys need legitimate developmental ice time. Say whatever you want about Frost turning into a bona fide NHL player, the one thing that’s certain is you’re not gonna find out if he can take that next step if he’s playing for the Phantoms. At some point you gotta pick a lane and stay in it. Sink or swim. Throw the young guys out there and see what they’ve got. It beats watching whatever the current product is.
