Cindy Crosby took an inadvertent stick to noggin in Game 3 and went down like Gritty had shot him with a sniper rifle from Comcast County:

It’s so sad that this is what it’s come down to for Sid the Kid. Three Stanley Cups, 10 All-Star Games, two Hart Trophies, blah blah etc. Now he’s out here at age 38 flopping for penalties against a Flyers team that is still technically in a rebuild. He got a power play assist in this game but otherwise has the same amount of embellishment penalties as points in this series, which the Penguins are currently losing, 3-0.

A legend of the game reduced to petty gamesmanship. It’s hard to watch! Thankfully the Flyers will put the final nail in the Yinzer coffin on Saturday and Sid can ride off into the sunset with all of his accolades.
