The Flyers Gave Up the Dumbest Empty Net Goal

The Flyers were down 4-0 in Washington but made a furious charge to cut the score to 4-3 before this ended the game:

It was one of those plays where you had to pause and rewind, because watching in real-time you were sitting there thinking, “what the hell was that? what did I just watch?”
You watched a horrific line change. Egor Zamula skated off the ice at the same time a cross-ice pass was coming right to him. The puck bounced off the wall, Washington picked it up, and Pierre-Luc Dubois scored. Then you have the symbolic slamming of the stick on the ice from Matvei Michkov because he knows they just fought their tails off to get back in the game, only to give it right back on a comical gaffe. Zamula might not be long for the NHL.
