There Now Exists a $99 “Flyers Pass” Program

Let’s get it back to hockey.

The Flyers introduced a “Flyers Pass” program where you pay $99 and get four tickets a month, with some caveats.

What is included in the Flyers Pass?

The Flyers Pass includes a ticket for four games per month (October – April). Game dates for each month will be released 2 weeks before the following month. October and November games are listed below.

Interestingly enough, the seats are different each time. It’s written in the notes that “your specific seat location will vary game to game. Seating can be assigned anywhere in the Wells Fargo Center, including in our Assembly Room (which is Standing Room Only). Please note that seats will be assigned to Flyers Pass purchasers for each game, based on availability, so specific seat locations cannot be guaranteed.”

Okay, so there’s a chance you end up standing room only, but you also might end up in the lower bowl with great seats as well, so there’s some variance here. If you want specific seats every game you need to be a season ticket holder.

Anthony and Russ both thought this was a reasonable idea, that it was another approach to get fans in the building during what looks to be a down year. They got ripped by some people on Twitter, but that’s about par for the course. It’s a different type of program for sure, but if you’re interested in the team and don’t want to be a full STH, maybe something like this works instead. It’s pretty affordable.
