This week’s Men At Work (subscribe, like, share) visits the Wildwood Boardwalk during Memorial Day Weekend to talk to the backbone of America: a bunch of blue collar union laborers. Grab a Super Tully Nut, watch the Tramcar please, and enjoy this episode!

God I love Wildwood (North Wildwood) – though I was impressed with WW proper now that they built the Fairview Social and Honky Tonk. I’m used to Avalon and though it’s beautiful in it’s own right and I appreciate my relatives for letting me mooch off their beautiful abode, there is nothing like North Wildwood at Keenan’s, the Inlet, and if I’m feeling nuts, EXIT6.
In this episode, we talked to a Wawa sandwich connoisseur, a union carpenter who described what falling off a building is like, a builder who designed an Eagles legend’s closet, a retired banker who fired people, two high school servers that have their five year plan together built out, a plumber who tells us about the craziest things he’s found in toilets, a consultant and social worker who moonlight as influencers, and a card counter turned blackjack dealer. Every single industry covered. We also got each other custom shirts from a Wildwood t-shirt shop that we had to wear the entirety of the podcast.
If you’re unfamiliar with my new pod, Men At Work, here’s the layman’s terms. We set up a table somewhere with mics and get random people to join and tell us what they do for a living. Then the conversation just goes from there. My co-host Matt Peoples and I thought this was a good idea for a podcast because society identifies so much with their job or what they want it to be. I’ve also found that there are a lot of interesting people in the Philly area and beyond with interesting jobs and interesting stories. In this episode we met The Blue collar babies, the middle class Mami’s, and the white collar criminals all gathered around to have a conversation. What other podcast is going to show you that many walks of life in under an hour? Check it out!
