It’s NY Tabloid Christmas with Deflated Ball Puns

There’s really only one pun, which is disappointing: New York’s papers of record, the Post and Daily News, both took on Deflategate on their front and back covers today, showing some measured restraint.
The best ones, in order: Post back page (simply for the glee on Brady’s cut-and-pasted face), Daily News back page, Daily News front page, Post front page. This is a story about balls, gentlemen. It also features two of the least-liked sports figures in the country. You can do better on your front pages. Still, “Judge backs Brady – but we know the truth” is appropriately nutso and bitter, so maybe the Post front page should jump up a spot in those rankings.
When he's not writing about sports here or ranting about them on Twitter, Jim is probably watching X-Files on Netflix or drinking a beer somewhere. Jim has nothing against hockey, it's just not his style. He once met Duce Staley at a Sixers game.
