The AP story says he was stabbed in the chest and back and is currently in stable condition. It was an altercation with another inmate at a federal prison in Florida.
Not sure how much you recall about the story, but Nassar admitted to sexually assaulting U.S. gymnasts and Michigan State athletes. Everybody came out against this guy. Simone Biles. McKayla Maroney. Aly Raisman, etc. They also accused the FBI of a failure to stop Nassar after they were reportedly made aware of the allegations against him back in 2015. He was arrested in 2016 and finally sentenced to decades in jail in 2022.
