The latest look into the Eagles’ season-long props features the defense.

bet365 has plenty of prop options available for the top players on the Birds D, so let’s dive into some of them.

Quinyon Mitchell interceptions

3+ INT (+115)

4+ INT (+290)

I’ll be honest, I’m salivating at these two specific props.

Quinyon Mitchell didn’t have an interception in his first NFL regular season, which is why the prices are set where they are for 2025 futures, but he did have a pair of picks in the postseason.

The assumption here is that Mitchell will improve on certain aspects of his game for year two. Hopefully, being more aggressive around the ball is one of those things.

There’s also no C.J. Gardner-Johnson or Darius Slay on the roster this time around, so, in theory, there will be more big-play opportunities for Mitchell to take advantage of as well.

The Eagles defense forced 13 interceptions in 2024, with six of them going to CJGJ, so again, without him in the fold, it’s likelier that the turnover opportunities go more in Mitchell’s favor.

Nolan Smith Over/Under 6.5 Sacks

This is what they call a perfectly set line.

Nolan Smith had 6.5 sacks last season and that’s where his prop is set for 2025.

It’s worth noting that Smith wasn’t a sack artist at Georgia. The 6.5-sack season in Philly was the best sack total he produced by three. He never had more than 3.5 sacks at UGA, but of course, that was on a loaded, title-winning defense.

Only Smith, Milton Williams, and Josh Sweat had five or more sacks in 2024, and like the Mitchell INT situation, there’s no Sweat or Williams around in 2025. Jalyx Hunt steps in to fill an EDGE role as well.

For what it’s worth, the sportsbooks don’t believe the Eagles are going to have a sackmaster at the top of the league. Smith is +10000 to have the most sacks in the NFL at BetMGM.

Defensive Player of the Year

Jalen Carter +2000

Quinyon Mitchell +6000

Zack Baun +6500

Cooper DeJean +8000

Nolan Smith +8000

The DPOY market is where you can make some serious cash if an Eagles star has a massive season.

Jalen Carter understandably has the lowest odds of any Eagles player to win DPOY, but if the sacks aren’t there, it may be hard to quantify how strong of a season the defensive tackle is having.

Aaron Donald is the only defensive tackle to win DPOY since the turn of the century, so I’d be more willing to take a stab on Smith, Baun, or Mitchell at much longer odds at NJ betting apps and PA sports betting apps.

Baun can once again be near the top of the NFL tackle charts, Smith has a wide-open path to recording more sacks, and Mitchell has a ton of room to grow from Defensive Rookie of the Year contender to Defensive Player of the Year.
