Jalen Hurts has had at least 600 rushing yards in four of his five NFL seasons.

Hurts’ season-long rushing-yard prop is currently over/under 600.5 at bet365.

Of course, the first thought regarding Hurts and rushing props go to his overall rushing touchdowns, but this is a fun angle as well.

Hurts’ rushing-yard production dipped in 2023 and 2024. He had 605 ground yards in 2023 and 630 rushing yards last season. It’s a drop from the pair of 700+ yard campaigns he had in 2021 and 2022.

Obviously, the addition of Saquon Barkley changed the Hurts equation. Ideally, you want your quarterback to run less with a superstar tail back next to him.

There’s always room for the quarterback to use his legs in the Eagles offense, though, and I’d argue it’s a requirement to keep opposing defenses on their heels. The Eagles would love to have Will Shipley develop into a solid third-down back, or for A.J. Dillon to become half the back he was in Green Bay to ease the pressure on Hurts and Barkley.

Right now, you have to view Hurts as the No. 2 rushing option inside the Eagles offense, which again, is not ideal, but he’s also very good at it.

Hurts’ rushing touchdown prop sits at over/under 12.5 with the over at even-money at bet365. He’s had double-digit rushing touchdown tallies in each of the last four seasons and he eclipsed the 12-score mark in each of the last three seasons.

With the Tush Push still alive and well, you have to look into the over 12.5 because at least 75 percent of his rushing touchdowns are going to come off the short-yardage play.

You can even put Saquon and Jalen’s rushing touchdown props into a Same Game Parlay at bet365. Barkley and Hurts to each have 10+ rushing touchdowns is -114. The two combined for 27 rushing touchdowns in the regular season in their first year as teammates, something to keep in mind as NFL futures start to gain traction on PA sports betting apps and New Jersey sports betting apps.

I don’t expect a major regression from either player on the ground unless the Eagles find significant depth during preseason, but for now, I’d absolutely buy stock in both Hurts props.
