Flyers at Senators: Keep Riding Owen Tippett’s Hot Streak

Two of the hottest players in the NHL to start the season go head-to-head on Thursday night in Ottawa.
We’ve seen firsthand what Owen Tippett’s done for the Flyers, with four goals over the last three games.
Ottawa’s Shane Pinto is in even better scoring form with a league-leading seven goals, including a pair of two-score performances to open the season against Florida and Tampa Bay.
Each player ripped pucks on net as well. Pinto has 22 SOG in eight games and Tippett has 19 SOG in six games, including 10 across his last two.
It’s natural to keep riding the wave with both players for bet365’s 30 percent boost for Thursday’s NHL slate.
The go-big-or-go-home option is to put Tippett and Pinto to score plus the over on their respective shots on goal props to get you to +1600.
Tippett is +240 to score a goal at bet365. He’s the hottest player on the Flyers roster, so why not keep betting his solo props, including Over 2.5 shots on goal?
Pinto is +210 to score, a much better price than the -200 attached to his Over 1.5 shots on goal prop. You get to -120 at NJ and PA sports betting apps if you combine Tippett and Pinto to have 2 SOG each. The price goes up to +330 at bet365 for each player to have 3+ SOG.
The other way to approach Flyers/Senators is to do a small point stack with Tippett and Pinto’s linemates. Sean Couturier had two assists on Monday and leads the Flyers with seven points. Former Flyer Claude Giroux is on Ottawa’s second line with Pinto and has three assists to start the season.
Each player is listed at -120 or lower to record a point in their own right. If you combine the four players to record a point, it gets you to +1000 in a SGP at bet365.
It’s easy to pick out those four players to record a point, but there’s a good chance others will be involved in the scoring. Four of the last five Flyers games featured at least seven goals, while three of the last four Sens games hit that same mark.
It might be easier just to bet the Over 6 and boost it to plus money with BetMGM’s NHL Odds Boost Token.
However, if you’re feeling advantageous, the Tippett/Pinto SGPs are the way to go.
