Flyers Wingers Have Ideal Matchup Against Nashville Predators

The Flyers have a significant statistical edge in their favor for Thursday’s home matchup with the Predators.
You could simply bet the Flyers on the money line at -145 and push it lower with BetMGM’s odds boost token:
Nashville isn’t great (just 1-3 on the road), but the Predators are also giving up high shot concessions to wingers. Nashville allows 30 shots against per game and ranks first in shots allowed to right wingers per game.
The trend rang true in Nashville’s last two games against Tampa Bay and Dallas. Two Tampa wingers had 4 shots on goal. That’s Mikko Rantanen and Jason Robertson, who combined for nine total.
All of the Flyers’ most aggressive puck rippers are wingers. Owen Tippett is the team leader. Travis Konecny, Noah Cates, Matvei Michkov, Tyson Foerster and Bobby Brink all have 15+ SOGs.
Of course, we’re not going to bet every one of those wingers, but there’s enough there from that data to build a profitbale Same Game Parlay.
Konecny and Michkov fit the specific trend of shots conceded by Nashville to right wingers. Tippett’s been shooting at an incredibly high volume, and a consistent one at that.
The home win over Seattle, which gives up the second-most shots to right wingers, is a good data point. Tippett had five SOG, Konecny had four and Michkov recorded two. Michkov’s shot volume has increased in the three games since the Seattle win. He has eight SOGs in that span, including two in which he cashed the over on his 2.5 SOG prop.

If you want to expand on that play, a 3+ SOG SGP of those three players sits at +900 and a 4+ SOG SGP is a whopping +5500.
The other angle with NJ and PA sports betting apps is to add the Flyers team total to the SGPs, or bet it as a single at Over 3.5. The Preds allowed at least three goals in every one of their losses. Four of those defeats featured concessions of four or more goals.
