It’s Never Too Early to Lock in Your Jalen Hurts Rushing Touchdown Bets

The 2025 NFL schedule is one day away from being fully released, so what better time to lock in your first futures bet of the season than now?

Jalen Hurts’ season rushing touchdown prop sits at over/under 12.5 at Bet365.

Hurts rushed for 13, 15 and 14 touchdowns in his last three seasons.

It’s fairly simple to figure this all out and bet the over, right?

Now is probably the time to lock that in. And it’s not because the Eagles schedule is being released Wednesday (because we already know all the opponents), but it’s better to make this bet now before the prices go up over the summer. Set it and forget it while you play blackjack online.

Look, I know it’s a long wait to have this cash in December or January, but it’s the right bet to make, even with Saquon Barkley on the roster, and even if the NFL wants to get rid of the Tush Push.

The Eagles are already one step ahead of the Tush Push ban, in my mind at least. The selection of Nebraska defensive tackle Ty Robinson on Day 3 of the NFL draft was made more to help the short-yardage offense in the short term.

You know the stat by now. Nebraska scored a touchdown on seven of the eight plays Robinson lined up at fullback. Combine that with Jeffrey Lurie’s comments about the fullback position itself and you have the perfect pusher for Hurts under new possible rules.

It’s not like Hurts needs the extra help, either, because the offensive line is the best in football. The quarterback sneak is still about creating leverage on the interior, which is exactly why the Birds are so successful with the Tush Push in the first place.

All the Eagles are going to do if the Tush Push gets banned is line Robinson, or another big ugly, up at fullback and have them push Hurts anyway. It’s happened for decades in football, so try to ban that, Roger.

That’s all just a long-winded way to say bet the over on Hurts’ season-long scoring prop, and soon enough you’ll be able to bet him to score in individual games across the entire 2025 season.
