Little League Says There’s No Place for Betting on World Series Games, Which You Can’t Do Legally Anyway

Not sure why Little League came out with this statement relative to the LLWS in Williamsport, which is underway:
“We feel strongly that there is no place for betting on Little League games or on any youth sports competition.”
Well, Little League officials would be pleased to know that no legal sportsbook has a Little League World Series market! Nor would they. The only betting being done on the LLWS is through unregulated, offshore books, or whatever operation your degenerate buddy is running out his basement.
From our sister site, Sports Betting Dime:
It is not difficult to find offshore sportsbooks that offer these odds. Sportsbooks such as Bovada or BetOnline.ag are located offshore and do not abide by U.S. sports betting rules or regulations.
None of the offshore sportsbooks offering bets on the Little League World Series are licensed by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to do business in the state, where the Little League World Series takes place every year.
The illegal sportsbooks are unlicensed, pay no taxes, and offer no consumer protections to users.
…
BetOnline.ag is based in Panama and offers various sports betting and iGaming platforms in the U.S. It has received numerous cease-and-desist orders – most recently from the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office – with varying degrees of effectiveness.
Plus, you never know what’s taking place in Williamsport anyway. Some kid from Chinese Taipei touched 82 MPH already! Check that young man’s birth certificate.
Jokes aside, we recommend LEGAL sports betting and LEGAL online casinos and REGULATED PA Casino apps. Good morning.
