Next up: Sweep the Dodgers.

It’s been one hell of a week for the Phillies out on the west coast.

It can get even better with +125 underdog win on Wednesday night:

Of course, the Phils are a money-line dog with Jesus Luzardo going up against Blake Snell, but this is an opportunity to make a statement for a team that can seemingly do no wrong at this point.

Snell is coming off his best start of the season, but that also occurred against the Colorado Rockies. He allowed 32 hits and 13 earned runs in the six previous appearances.

There are no significant head-to-head numbers, and Snell’s splits are pretty equal across the board, so if you’re going the player prop route, I would just trust the hot hitters in the Phillies lineup.

That conversation has to start with Harrison Bader, who has nine hits and a .321 batting average in the last week. He’s got a hit in eight of his last nine games, and I could make a strong case that he should bat leadoff when Trea Turner returns.

That’s not my level of expertise. I’m just the sports betting guy, but Bader leading off with Turner behind him in the No. 2 slot could strike a world of fear into opposing pitchers.

Anyway, Bader is -175 to record a hit and his Over 1.5 Hits/Runs/RBI prop sits at even money. I would look into both props on NJ and PA sports betting apps. He’s going to get four at-bats, and if the Phils work deep into the Dodgers bullpen, there’s a better chance of Bader receiving a fifth at-bat to cash in on those props.

Kyle Schwarber at -155 to record a hit is a steal as well. He’s hit lefties well all season and he’s got a home run in nine career ABs versus Snell.

I would combine Bader and Schwarber with Teoscar Hernandez (3-for-5 vs. Luzardo) and Freddie Freeman (.375 in 8 ABs versus Luzardo) for a Same Game Parlay. I wouldn’t go too crazy on the prop side because Luzardo and Snell can both get on a strikeout roll.

However, I would combine the members of the above quartet at +245 in an attempt to hope excitement comes out of the late-night matchup.
