Sixers vs. Clippers: Do We Play Paul George’s Props, or Avoid Like the Plague?

Paul George is back! That’s according to NBA insiders, who say he’ll make his season debut Monday night at home.
Unclear if that’s a good thing or not yet, but Monday presents a decent matchup for George to get back on the hardwood.
The Sixers are a 5.5-point favorite at BetMGM against the Los Angeles Clippers, who are off to an underwhelming 4-9 start.
The big plus here for the Sixers is they should score plenty of points. The Clippers allowed more than 120 points in each of their last three games, one of which did go to overtime.
James Harden and Co. are also 1-4 on the road with three of those losses coming by double figures. They are 2-3 against the spread on the road, but overall, they are 3-10 ATS, the second-worst mark in the NBA behind the Washington Wizards.
The Clippers are 8-5 to the over. The Sixers are 7-5 to the over, so yeah, there’s a good chance the Over 220 hits in this game.
As for George, his points prop sits at Over/Under 12.5. We have no idea how many minutes he will play, but I think you have to stay away until we see what he looks like not only from a personal perspective, but how he fits into the new rotation as well.
Honestly, it might just be a scoring duel between Harden and Tyrese Maxey. They both have 30-plus points in three of their last four games.
For NJ and PA sports betting, Maxey and Harden to each have 30+ points gets you to +350 at bet365. Although both players are shooting well from three-point range, the SGP only gets up to +370 if you add Maxey and Harden to have 4+ threes.
Retrieving data. Wait a few seconds and try to cut or copy again.
If you want to add to the Maxey/Harden 30+ point SGP, I’d take one or two Sixers three-point props. The Clippers give the third-most three-point makes per game in the NBA.
Quentin Grimes is the easy pick for that because of his three-point volume. He’s hit multiple three-pointers in every home game he’s appeared in this season.
Maxey 30+ points, Harden 30+ points, and Grimes 3+ threes puts you at +725 at bet365 before the 30 percent SGP boost is applied.
You can feel inclined to add Andre Drummond rebounds in there as well, but his rebound prop is so high at O/U 11.5 and he’s got a decent matchup to deal with against Ivica Zubac.
The pizza money SGP would actually include VJ Edgecombe rebounds. He’s had 23 rebounds in the last four games.
Maxey 30+ points, Harden 30+ points, Grimes 3+ threes, Edgecombe 5+ rebounds, and Harden 5+ rebounds (7+ in each of the last 4 games) gets you up to +1700, if you’re looking for a big cash on Monday.
