Underdog Picks for Rams-Seahawks, Patriots-Bears

Here’s a look at our favorite picks for both games on Sunday.

Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams WR: More 92.5 receiving yards

Nacua was actually quiet for the Rams in that thrilling divisional round game against the Bears. I don’t think it’ll be the same story this time around against the Seahawks. Remember, the last time Nacua faced Seattle he totaled 225 receiving yards with a pair of touchdowns. This is the biggest game of his career, so you can guarantee he’ll be in for a big game.

Wil Lutz, Denver Broncos K: Less 1.5 extra points

I admit, with this one, I’m kind of counting on Jarrett Stidham’s downfall. The Broncos face a great Patriots defense that would have had its hands full with Bo Nix under center. Stidham, on the other hand, has to be more than a little rusty. Despite Denver’s faith in Stidham, it feels like this one is going to be a bit of a rock fight.

Drake Maye, New England Patriots: More 6.5 rushing attempts

The Broncos defense has more sacks than any team In the NFL by a considerable margin, which means that Maye is going to be working with a collapsing pocket early and often. Obviously, I expect plenty of these defenders to get home, but I also expect this pressure to flush Maye out of the pocket often.
