The Colorado Rockies are 8-40 with a -153 run differential.

You’ve probably already bet the Phillies run line, because well, it cashed with relative ease the first two games of this Phillies/Rockies series.

In May alone, the Rockies have lost 13 games by multiple runs. Only two of their defeats this month have been by a single run.

I could end this post now and just say bet the run line and nothing else, but where’s the fun in that, right, especially when the Rockies have been very, very, very bad.

The Phils put up 16 runs in the last two games and they’re facing rookie Carson Palmquist. (A quick aside: it must SUCK to be a pitching prospect in the Rockies organization).

Palmquist is a left-handed pitcher who posted a 3.82 ERA at Triple-A Albuquerque. Lefties are hitting .208 and righties are .200 with three home runs against him.

However, this is his first time throwing at Coors Field and the Rockies bullpen still has to pitch in this game at some point. The Phils got 11 of their 16 runs this week off Colorado’s bullpen arms.

Even if the Phils experience a slow start, I’d look into live betting either the run line, money line, or the team total depending on how far they dip from their initial prices.

Bet365 has the money line at -220 (which, to be honest, is a steal considering it’s the Rockies), the run line at -155, and the team total over/under at 6.5.

Bryce Harper and Trea Turner are the best to bet for player props. Turner and Nick Castellanos are the only Phillies players listed at over/under 2.5 for total bases.

I’d still bet Turner’s over at that number because he has five hits and nine total bases in two games so far at Coors Field. Harper also has five hits in the series.

So if ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Bet Turner and Harper to have 2+ total bases and the Phillies money line, which can be sweetened with a 30 percent SGP boost at bet365 from +220. Turner/Harper and the Phillies run line sits at +250 before the boost.

Taijuan Walker is on the mound for the Phils, but that shouldn’t be too concerning given the current state of the Rockies lineup, which has been shut out twice in the last five games.

Kinkead: My advice is to get in these bets now, then you watch them cash while playing NJ casino apps or PA online casino during the game itself. We’re hitting the online slots while the Phillies are hitting baseballs. Cha ching!
