With NFL Season Win Totals Announced, Eagles’ 2021 Odds Look Bleak

The 2021 NFL schedule isn’t out quite yet and this year’s draft isn’t for nearly two more weeks, but oddsmakers at some of the top online sportsbooks have released season win totals for each of the league’s 32 teams. For the Eagles, the odds are bleak.
The 2021 Eagles odds and season win totals have been released by popular online sportsbooks such as DraftKings Sportsbook and William Hill. While the totals are subject to change as the offseason calendar moves forward, the Eagles’ season win total odds suggest trouble lies ahead.
Let’s take a look at the current market and what it means.

DraftKings States: AZ, CO, CT, DC, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, TN, VT, VA, WV, WY

Eagles Season Win Total Odds Among League’s Lowest
DraftKings Sportsbook currently lists the Eagles win total at just 6.5 games. The over is priced at -134 and the under checks in at +110.
While 6.5 wins is a fairly modest number, it is a particularly sobering one given the league will add a 17th regular season contest this season. More concerning is that just one team, the Houston Texans, have a lower win total market (4.5 games). At a total of 6.5 wins, the Eagles are tied with the Bengals and Jets as the team’s with the lowest win-total numbers at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Listing Philadelphia at seven total wins, it would seem oddsmakers at William Hill are slightly more bullish on the Eagles, but that’s not really the case because of the way the market is priced. Currently, the “over” sits at +105. The under comes in at -125. In this case, William Hill bettors don’t have to lay as much money for a win, but they will need eight wins — not the seven required at DraftKings — to cash this futures bet.
Here’s a look at DraftKings’ current win totals for each team:
- Cowboys: Over 9.5 (+110)/Under 9.5 (-134)
- Football Team: Over 8 (-134)/Under 8 (+110)
- Giants: Over 7 (-110)/ Under 7 (-110)
- Eagles: Over 6.5 (-134)/Under 6.5 (+110)

CLAIM OFFER2021 Eagles NFC East and Postseason Odds
Given the above information, it probably doesn’t come as much of a surprise that oddsmakers are cool on the Eagles’ postseason prospects as well.
Despite struggles in recent seasons, Dallas (+110) is the clear-cut division favorite over at DraftKings. Defending division champ Washington (+260), New York (+450) and Philadelphia (+500) trail behind.
FanDuel Sportsbook has a similar outlook, as Dallas (+105), Washington (+270), New York (+440) and Philadelphia (+550) make up the order.
That said, if you’re thinking about backing the Eagles for a surprise division run in new head coach Nick Sirianni’s first season, FanDuel provides the better payout.
Finally, there are a few other ways to place futures wagers on the current 2021 Eagles odds. Among those markets include:
- To make the postseason: Yes (+275)/No (-360)
- To win the NFC: +3300
- To win the Super Bowl: +7000
To put those conference and Super Bowl title odds in context, only the the Lions have worse odds among the conference’s teams at +6600. Only four teams have worse Super Bowl odds with the Bengals (+8000), Jets (+8000), Lions (+15000) and Texans (+15000) checking in behind the Eagles.
