Follow me now. THE. ABSOLUTE. BEST. 2. HOURS. EVERY. SINGLE. WEDNESDAY.
If you aren’t watching First Take every Wednesday when Stephen A and Chris “Mad Dog” Russo are going toe to toe, then what are you doing? Mad Dog getting bungled by his chair while trying to make an Aaron Rodgers point is the best thing ESPN has done in a decade:

“Wassamatterwittachair!”
Mad Dog is just making up his own language.
How has ESPN not given the Mad Dog a blank check to appear on First Take five days a week? I don’t care that I can’t understand every fourth word the Mad Dog unleashes. It’s equal parts car wreck equal parts like watching the Wimbledon final. Forehand Stephen A., Mad Dog with the backhand return. Stephen A. calls himself “Mr. Philly.” Not so fast my friend! The Mad Dog was offered the 10-1 shift back in 1987:

Back and forth. Back and forth. Let’s mix in JJ Redick to keep their takes both in check and we have TV gold. Poor Molly doesn’t stand a chance.
