BetMGM Customers Like Penn State to Win the Big 10 and the National Title, While Temple Receives 0% of Tickets

At long last, college football has returned. Or it will be returning soon, this weekend, to be exact, with a schedule custom-built for all of the sickos out there. We’ve got Iowa State vs. Kansas State on Saturday, followed by a Fresno State vs. Kansas and a primetime showdown between the Stanford Cardinal and Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors. It’s awesome baby!

Here at home, the Temple Owls open at UMass next Saturday, while Penn State hosts Nevada. BetMGM customers are really feeling the Nitters right now, because this the current data for national title bets:

Highest Ticket%

1. Texas 12.3% (+450)
2.  Penn State 10.7% (+700)
3. Ohio State 8.9% (+525)

Highest Handle%

1. Texas 21.3%
2. Penn State 13.6%
3. LSU 7.9% (+1400)

The trend carries into Big 10 betting as well. Ohio State is a +190 favorite to win the conference, but the highest ticket % (17.7) and highest handle percentage (23.2) is on Penn State at +240. It really seems like bettors are all-in on the Lions this season. Maybe they see Drew Allar returning with an improved receiver corps (we think) while Ohio State tries to break in a new quarterback. They likely see the better value at +240 and are willing to look beyond the fact that James Franklin remains the head coach.

Interestingly enough, BetMGM says the biggest liability right now is Nebraska at +3500. Seems like the Huskers are the dark horse of Big 10 futures. Matt Rhule’s squad went 7-6 in year two and returns sophomore Dylan Raiola under center. They play their first five games at home and only have ranked Michigan and PSU on the schedule. Is this the year the Huskers finally break through? Do we turn back the clocks to 1995?

As for the Owls, they are +100000 to win it all. BetMGM reports Temple receiving 0% of the tickets and 0% of the handle. They are +8000 to make the American title game. You may be better off spending your Temple futures money on blackjack online casino and NJ casino apps. But for the record, we are smashing the Temple over of 3.5 total wins. Ain’t no way K.C. Keeler is winning fewer than four games.
