Penn’s leading scorer, Ethan Roberts, is in the transfer portal:

The caveat is that Roberts has to enter the portal if he wants to keep playing basketball, because the Ivy League doesn’t allow grad students to participate in varsity sports. Roberts transferred to Penn in 2024 after a freshman season with Army and redshirt year at Drake. He played two seasons here, and has one more year of eligibility remaining.

Roberts averaged 16.9 PPG, four rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 40.4% from three. He missed the Ivy League tournament and March Madness with a concussion and his last Penn game will go down in the books as the March 6th road trip at Brown. He’s a 6’5″ wing from the Chicago area and will have plenty of options to play his final year of college basketball.
