31 Things That Happened Since the Last Phillies Walk-Off Home Run

The streak… is over.

After three-plus long years, the Phillies finally hit a walk-off home run on Sunday afternoon at Citizens Bank Park. The hero was Kyle Schwarber, who hit the last walk-off homer for the Phils on June 9th, 2023 against the Dodgers. It ended the longest active MLB streak for a team without a walk-off homer at 556 regular-season games.

That got me thinking… what has happened since June 9th, 2023? There’s been no shortage of Philly sports moments, so let’s highlight the highs and lows:

  1. LeBron James signed with the Sixers
  2. Saquon Barkley signed with the Eagles
  3. Nick Foles retired
  4. Saquon Barkley ran for more than 2,000 yards in a regular season
  5. The Eagles won the Super Bowl again
  6. Jalen Hurts won Super Bowl MVP
  7. The Union won the 2025 Supporters’ Shield
  8. Michael Lorenzen threw a no-hitter against the Nationals
  9. The Phillies beat the Braves in the playoffs again
  10. The Phillies won back-to-back NL East titles
  11. Fletcher Cox retired
  12. The Flyers made the playoffs and beat the Penguins in the opening round
  13. Lincoln Financial Field hosted six World Cup matches and eight Club World Cup matches
  14. Jason Kelce retired
  15. The 2026 Home Run Derby and All-Star Game were held at Citizens Bank Park
  16. Brandon Graham retired and then unretired and then…?
  17. The Eagles went through four different offensive coordinators
  18. Jaylen Brown was traded to the 76ers
  19. Phillies fans gave Trea Turner a standing ovation
  20. Aaron Rai won the PGA Championship at Aronimink
  21. The Sixers traded James Harden to the Clippers
  22. The Eagles went 4-0 against the Rams
  23. The Flyers went through three head coaches
  24. The Wells Fargo Center became Xfinity Mobile Arena

  26. The Eagles collapsed twice
