Everyone outside the city limits of Houston knew this was a dive. The last person in the world who wanted to be in the box with two outs last night was Aledmys Diaz. Even the ump knew he fucking leaned into it:

When the Phillies win the World Series, the story of the Astros season is how did a 106-win team reeking with this much loser energy make it to the Big Dance? If you ask me, the Astros are on more of a Cinderella run than the Phils. The top four in your lineup go 2-18, your crowd has zero juice, and your future Hall of Fame pitcher continues to see ghosts in the World Series. Top to bottom a team filled with losers who can’t rise to the occasion without a wire. Now Dusty Baker is pulling moves he saw in a movie just to get some ducks on the pond:
