Life comes at you fast. One minute, you’re an All Star and ripping on Bryce Harper, the next, you’re DFA’d:

Arcia was public enemy #1 in 2023, when Phillies knocked the Braves out of the postseason for the second year in a row. After Atlanta’s Game 2 win, Arcia was heard taking a dig at Harper in the Braves’ locker room, which was picked up and reported by Fox Sports’ Jake Mintz and corroborated by other scribes. Harper hit two bombs in Game 3 and stared Arcia down while rounding the bases. Around the same time, some of the Braves players got all pissy because they thought the media had reported on something that was off the record, and then Alanna Rizzo decided to jump into the fray and call Mintz a “jackoff” before apologizing. Arcia told reporters, through an interpreter, that they weren’t “supposed to hear” his comments about Harper, then proceeded to act like a doofus in ensuing games against the Phillies and other MLB teams at large.
